Name For A Western Themed Event

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I work for a non-profit organization that supports youth in the performing arts (Youth Singers of Calgary, YSC) We are pitching a new idea for a fundraiser and I need a catchy name. The event will be during Stampede week in Calgary. So I want to go with a Western/Cowboy Theme. Event will target the corporate cowboy crowd and includes a silent auction, live entertainment, appetizer buffet, drinks and a lot of fun. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, cause I'm stumped!

I vote for Sippin' and Singin' for Youth Fundraiser

ya gotta kinda let people know it's a fundraiser. Some folks will go just because it is. And wouldn't go if it wasn't.

Round 'em up, Sing 'em out, Youth Fundraiser

    Hoedown Singers Youth Fundraiser

ewwww, I just saw it won't be the youth singing...it's just live entertainment right?

    Classy Hoedown, Youth Singers Funderaiser.

guess my thinker is thunked out.

I helped coordinate the 100th Birthday celebration of John Wayne's birth last Spring (Marion Morrison (aka John Wayne) was born here and there is a museum that promotes his legacy.). The working title for our major fund raising gala was Champagne and True Grit. We never used it, but I always thought it was fun.

We had a professional Chuck Wagon chef for one of the meals and it was truly outstanding! For the money I am sure he'd come to Calgary. Food was incredible.

I've also heard of a "Boot Scootin' Ball."

    Good Luck
