Sales People's Titles On Business Cards

I am currently getting new business cards for myself & in signing mine off I also saw the cards for a number of our sales people.

We currently don't use 'sales' in their title (which I agree with), but use either Account Manager or Business Manager.

This got me thinking - whether there are better ones out there. Our structure is Head of Sales in charge of 3 Account Managers.

Any other suggestions??

    I've used account manager, territory manager, business development manager, sales representative-- or you can personalize to your business. In my rep agency I focus on the A/D community (architect/designers) I am that company's Architectural Representative You can also call it by market segment. Retail Sales (or account) Executive or Specialist (if their focus is calling on retailers). While you are calling on the customer, you aren't a customer's representative-- you are your company's representative-- as the person you are calling on -- is their company's representative. Put stuff about meeting needs and consultative selling in your tagline. You are selling something-- a solution-- never be afraid to call it like it is.

    You are selling something-- a solution-- never be afraid to call it like it is.

    I have seen successful sales professionals not even have a title. It really only matters to you. Leaving it blank where the title is lets your prospect read your body language and presence to determine the worth of your input.

    I have also talked with business owners that expect everyone to sell, no matter their title.

    Dennis so so right-- all companies are the voice of their company. Call it what you want-- but they ALL better be selling/marketing their company-- or else what value do they add

    A sales title commonly used in the financial serices world is Relationship Manager (or Relationship Specialist, etc.)
