Tagline For Personal And Small Business Coaching

My name is Karen Finn. I own a personal and small business coaching company - Life Tailoring. When I started my business I was targeting individuals and the name of the company is reflective of that. I make my living by providing coaching and consulting to individuals and small business; I also MC events/meetings and speak at meetings.

The tagline I've been working with is "Unleash Your Greatness". This works well for the individual, but not as well for the small business. I'm in the midst of rebranding the company and would appreciate suggestions for a tagline that is appropriate for both individuals and small businesses. Any ideas??

    These are two different markets, with different needs. I'd suggest a second business name with a different tagline. While the work may be similar, the language you would use for individual/business would be very different.

    I'm assuming that "small business coaching" means working with the owner of a small business to help them focus on their goals. This is in contrast to an executive/leadership coach.

    A small business owner has general cares of: overwhelm (time-management) and paying the bills (success). Therefore, I suggest taglines like: Make Your Business Great (echoing your personal tagline), Make Your Business A Success, or Achieve Your Business Goals/Dreams.

    Can you tell us a little bit more about who you are?

    Because of the personal nature of coaching, it seems that your name/ tag line /approach, etc. must all be reflective of your individual personality and values.

    If not, there may be a disconnect between the company and the real Karen, with unfavorable results. To present a unified image, everything must align.

    Or I could be totally wrong. :-)

    If you coach small biz owners on how to create successful businesses, I would suggest a separate name like "Business Tailoring" in addition to "Life Tailoring". If you coach small biz owners on the same material as individuals, I would use "Life Tailoring" for both audiences and use a tagline similar to some of the ones above.

    I would think that you want to emphasize the participatory nature of the service, given that one must act on coaching instruction to see results. In that vein, how about...

    Release the success within
    Claim your success
    Expert guidance to release the success within
    Helping you help yourself
