Need Help Naming Newsletter For Special Needs Org

Posted by choward on 250 Points
URGENT HELP NEEDED!

I work for a not-for-profit organizationo that provides services to individuals with disabilities and we are developing a newsletter that will go home to parents/guardians of these individuals detailing program changes, staff training, safety initiatives, participants' activities in program and community, fundraising efforts, family resources, etc.

We have an employee newsletter named "On Target" and the organization name is St. Vincent's Special Needs Services. We have a two-year motto "Imagine, believe, learn and achieve". This will change in 2009/10 program year.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

These are good but not sure any fit exactly. The newsletter will be informational in nature ... getting out information about the organization and what's been going on in classrooms with the children and in program with the adult day participants. I should also mention it will be published quarterly.

Thanks to all for your great suggestions. We've decided to go with "Outreach" on the masthead with the tagline to read "a newsletter for families and caregivers". Just a little switcheroo from mdlugozima's Reach Out.

to answer your questions wmma ... we have considered keeping the motto and may, however, we do find that to truly inspire our staff change is often not a bad thing. We do have some time to consider this as we have commited to keep this motto at least until end of fiscal year 2009.

Thanks again for all your input!
