Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

Let's go back to basics. First, who is your primary target audience? What do they need that you can provide? Or are you just trying to stuff what you have into their hands?

Second, what is your benefit positioning? What's the reason someone should want what you have? What important itch do you scratch?

Third, what's your real objective? Why do you want people to take your free download? Why are YOU willing to spend your money to give the download away?

Finally, how does your target audience find out about the offer? What's your marketing plan?

Your problem may not be the lack of a snazzy name. ("Snazzy" doesn't usually solve a problem.) It's probably your strategy or your brand positioning. Start there.

It's not for me - it's for a client of my VA firm. I am not in charge of their marketing - just putting the link for the recording on their web site - and it struck me as "blah". So, before you continue on the marketing 101 lecture ... please just throw some ideas out there OR tell me if it's OK the way it is and I'm just overly critical.
