Financial Planning Firm Needs A New Slogan!

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am the marketing coordinator for a larger financial planning firm and I am having a hard time coming up with a new strategy to attract new clients. We have always done free dinner seminars and then prospect follow ups afterwards. As far as getting people into the seminars, we have done direct mail invitations, and radio and tv ads. We are planning on putting a 1 page ad in one of the largest newspapers in Southern Florida and I really need for it to be effective. I'm not sure if a catchy slogan or image is the answer or not, but I just need a new approach that will work.

A little bit about the company..

We are 3 business all under one roof: financial planners, estate lawyers, and accountants. I think that this is an advantage because there are very few firms that have all 3 assets. Our target marketing is preferably seniors with a lot of money haha

My boss, the President and CEO, has been in this business for over 20 years and has made a lot of clients very rich.

If anyone has any ideas it would be very helpful! Thank you!

Finance is a touchy subject because people are fairly sensitive about their money. That is why so many firms use slogans like "rock" - because a rock is an anchor (it is sturdy) and you want the people managing your money to anchor you to be strong and dependable as opposed to the inverse.

How about thinking about those types of themes when you think of your slogan. Florida in-fact has a lot of water around it and Southern Florida has boats galore. How about a slogan involving an anchor? Seems appropriate right?
