Help With Umbrella Company Phrase

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I work for a company that has one umbrella company and several companies underneath. What I am looking for is some type of phrase that tells people that "this" company is a part of the umbrella company. This line would appear below email signatures, and the bottom of letterhead, etc. The only thing I've come up with is "A member of the KEYMED Healthcare Companies family!" I'm stumped because I'm not sure if there are words like "division" or "subdivision" that imply things legally with our company as a whole. We are in the reimbursement medical supply business so we have to be careful of how things are phrased. I would appreciate any ideas! Don't worry about these legal words if you don't know either. I can always go over that with my boss.

Thanks!

Stef

Umberella, Mother, Father and Parent Company are all way to describe what you fit under. Or you could use the correct term which is subsidiary.

Be sure not to confuse the reader with Umbrella Company, in terms of tax, whereby a contractor contributes tax through an external company.
