Need Tagline For Online Scrapbook Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am in the process of expanding my online business and I'm looking for a new tag-line that will broaden my customer base. Here is the situtation. I started out designing and selling scrapbook page kits for kids to be able to complete themselves and make their own scrapbooks. I called this business and my website: Little Scrappers and used the tag-line Scrapbook Kits for Kids. However, I have since expanded to include a line of scrapbook kits for adults, so the name and tag line no longer fit. I am thinking about re-naming my business to Rivertown Page Kits and need a new tag line that incorporates the kits for kids along with kits for adults. I want to indicate that the kits are fast and easy to use and also let it be known that this is scrapbook related, since "scrapbook" isn't in the name itself. I would break out the business into 2 product lines, the kits for kids which I would still use the name Little Scrappers for and the other something like "Smooth Sailing Kits" for adults. I appreciate any and all suggestions.

Why not simply create a new line called "Big Scrappers", and choose a parent company name (such as "Rivertown Products" - not just "Rivertown Page Kits" which is too limiting business-wise)? Evolve your product as: Big Scrappers by Rivertown Products, etc.

I agree with Jay here, changing your name damages your refferal and repeat customer opportunites. A new name might have a better chance of generating new customers, but in that case you might as well create just a second company and leave the old one in place. Leave the old one as is, create a new one, and possibly put them both under a larger body.

Plus you are going to be more attractive as a product supplier if you appear as a specialty organization.
