Company Name With The Word "event" In It.

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hello,

I know I recently posted on this site looking for help with a company name & I really appreciated all the suggestions I received.,,which is why I'm posting again.

Unfortunately I am still stuck on deciding a company name. I hope you all dont' mind my posting again for help with this. Per suggestions, I've reviewed my business plan time & time again for inspiration with names but I'm still stuck.

I really would like a name using the word "event" in it & have it be a little catchy, witty etc. My company will be a sort of trendy event planning company, dealing with something like promotional business parties to netowrking events to wedding & birthday planning.

I thought of the name Eventique but it's already taken..but this is along the lines of what I am trying to come up wtih.

I would love your valuable input! Thanks again!

I seem to remember this thread (or a similar one) coming through the forum recently.

    How about "Department of Eventology?"

Maybe you become the "Evention Connection?"

    "Eventfully Yours!"

    MainStage Events

PLAN IT! (use a graphic with Saturn (with the rings) in the background) and rely more on a tag - "Events that are Out of this world!" (Kind of that "Planet Hollywood" look.)

    I'll keep thinking!
    Good Luck!

Oh I like some of these! I like Eventology without the "department" in front of it. For Trend Events I was thinking maybe spelling it Event Trendz.

I want to keep this open a bit longer to see what else comes through but love a few of these already.

Also, I recently came across the word Viva & am trying to figure out if I can make that word work at all...

Or something using my my childhood nickname Rock...

Thanks so all the suggestions so far! great stuff!

Thanks dmull. I'm looking for something a little more trendy/upscale sounding & less scientific as those names can end up appealing more to a group on men rather than both men & women ages 30-60 which is more my target audience.

    Thanks for more suggestions.

I'm looking for words that would sound & look good on billboards & in newsletters when announcing the next event I will be hosting.

Something with the words: glam, pearl, trendz, social, viva, vision, gem, dash, inspire, fusion, fuse, bella.

Thanks mdlugozima, I like the MEvents. I've been trying to find a way to use an R since its my first initial but I dont think it has the same affect as the Me. I like this...adding to my list!

Thanks for these suggestions but I still don't feel I've found the name I'm looking for. This is tougher than I thought! I'm looking for something with only one or two syllables. If anyone has anything without the word Event, I would be interested in hearing that as well.

Thanks again for your time & suggestions!!!

to follow up on Wow Events. I envision the Wow larger in the logo with an ! and events smaller, bold and All Caps under the Wow.

    Wow! (larger and bold)
EVENTS (smaller, caps and maybe a lighter color)

Thanks DougM but when I think of WOW, I think of the gym franchise WorkOut World & their logo is WOW. It's a popular gym in my area as well as all over many states & I wouldn't want to confuse it with that. But I appreciate the suggestion.

Does anyone have any words that could also mean Bliss, Happy, Cheers, celebrate, inspire, life, cherish, love, laugh etc that could be a one or two syllable word with a little pizzazz & not as generic as what I just listed?

Thanks everyone! Please please help me think of more names! I need to move beyond this asap..as we all know..there's lots more planning ahead of me!

    Good Morning Raquel!

    How's your French?

    "joie de vivre"

NOUN: Hearty or carefree enjoyment of life.
ETYMOLOGY: French : joie, joy + de, of + vivre, to live, living

This has been a good exercise for us - don't get too frustrated. It'll come. Maybe if nothing has really "tripped your trigger" you can "back in" and work on the details a bit more. Your last little post with additional key words helped me think about it more.

    I also thought about:
    Nirvana
    Spark
    Vibes
    Divine Diversions

    Good Luck!

Good Morning Cnolte! Thanks for these suggestions. I had Divine on my list.

I like the French suggestion although I might want something a bt shorter. I would love something with a French, latin, Italian twist but was told to stay clear of anything too ethnic. Two names I loved were Vie Events (Life events) & Dolce Events (Sweet events) but I'm hearing others say anythign too ethnic can make some people steer clear of the company & their events. Is this a true statement? What do others think?
