Help Me Name My Business Please!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am looking for help naming my business, It is an online business selling cute and trendy notecards, calling cards, stationary, invitations, placemats, tee shirts, with classic yet trendy style, very traditional and upscale, but also fun. Everything is personalized too with monograms, and names, some embroidered stuff too. Very Southern, very personal, very Palm Beachy... Please help.
My name is Jana Goode Sloan and I don't mind incorporating my name into the name of the business.

I'd steer clear of using your name. You may want to expand beyond your home territory, and it's best to use a name that ties into your business' positioning, such as:

    Duly Noted

Because your offerings are wide, it's hard to come up with something that's specific:

    Palm Beachy
    Palm Beach-isms
    Life From Palm Beach
    Writings From Palm Beach
    Write From Palm Beach

    Paper Perfect
    Take Note

    (I also like Duly Noted).

I suggest you focus on one segment first (and then add on later, as people come to know you and your store, rather than trying to do too much at once)

    How about:

    Very Truly Yours

  • Posted on Member
    The Write Place

That way you can incorporate other items later on, but still use the catchy name.

    Just a thought.
