Name&tag Line For Printable Game Product Line

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Two weeks into my first job out of university and I have found myself developing a brand for our product line. I have been making decent progress but I have not had much luck thinking of a brand name or tag line to go with it. The reason I am branding our product line is so that people will realize that we offer more than one type of game and will use our games for more events.

Our company specializes in games that you purchase online, then print on your own printer (or someone else's). We do not currently ship any of our products or offer them in stores. We have games for baby showers, birthdays, wedding/bridal showers, Halloween, Valentines Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

The attributes we want our customers to connect with our brand are as follows:
>Easy to use & convenient
>Engaging
>Personalizable & customizable
>FUN
>Quality -graphics - dedicated graphic designer
-games - wide variety of both classic and original games
-website - functional, easy to use and looks good
-customer support - strive to make our customers feel like they are #1

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Names: Game Events (or gamEvents), Party Play, Board Of Parties

    Taglines:
Make Your Next Event More Fun
Are You Game For A Party?
Play More At Your Next Party

    What about
    Games to Go
    E-Games
Party Sizzlers - Games to Turn Up the Fun

The tag line could be 'All the games that are fit to print.' or a much more simplistic, but visual, Click. Print. Fun.

I'd love to hear a bit more about the types of games and how you plan on marketing these products. what is the 'new brand' that you're working on? I am unclear on whether it is one specific set of games or if you're branding the entire line of e-games.

What is the base cost for downloads? Does the customer need special papers or other components (dice, game boards, etc)?

Ideally, the product brand should tie strongly with the corporate brand and the positioning line should bring your unique Selling proposition (USP) down to its most basic common denominator.

Pretty much all of our games are played just using the game sheet that you print out and a writing implement. They are intended to be played with groups of people, no number limit. We have some different prices and packages available but for the most part games cost seven dollars per individual game. All that the customer needs is a printer and regular paper although if they want they can use fancy paper, but that is strictly up to the individual customer.

We are branding the entire line of “e-games”, not just one set. I hesitate to call them “e-games” since they are not played online, they are printed out and then used. There is not really a corporate brand so to speak, we just have a company name and these games just happen to be our main product. The goal of branding the entire line of games is to try and increase customer awareness of all our product lines, not just the one that they happen to be looking for at the moment. I hope that helped answer your questions, please let me know if you have more, I would be happy to answer any other.

thanks for the suggestions so far Jay and Reneefellows!

Thanks for the responses so far! I just wanted to let you know that the brainstorming is still going on here at my work and I am aiming to have a few "finalists" picked by Friday the 11th. Lately we have been kicking around the idea of using a 'designer' type brand name strategy. Anyone have any ideas on that?

I threw out the idea of using our actual game designer's name but she vetoed that so I tried to come up with a catchy name -Nicole Kate Creations- came out of that. I liked how it sounds, but since coming up with that I have found myself unable to think of anything new.... That makes all of your input even more valuable!
