Tagline Suggestion For A Consulting Firm.

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Dear Members,

I work for an International executive Search firm. Our Core Business Is Talent Management Solutions. I am currently in the Process of Developing a new website for ourselves and im looking for a catchy Phrase or a tagline/Business Quote that would pop up on our website on every visit; Something that would register into one’s mind easily. Probably Some thing on the same lines of firms like Korn Ferry and Egon Zehnder. Ie the Art and science of talent or Unleashing the power of Business Leadership.

Any suggestions on this matter would be highly appreciated.

    just a couple of ideas.

    "Right here waiting for You"

    "The search is over"

    "We're always Last"

    "It's about Time"

The stars are all lined up"

    First Place Winners

---------------- For what it's worth RT

What's the objective of the tagline? What will be different when you have one? How will you decide among the candidates we suggest? What are you trying to communicate besides "catchy phrase?"

Usually a good tagline communicates the positioning. What is your unique positioning promise? Why should someone hire you and not another firm? Who exactly is your primary target audience?

If you do international executive search - I tend to think your clients hire you for reasons other than a catchy tagline.

There is often a lot of confusion about the value of taglines in professional services, with the mis-application of consumer products practices and the thinking that the equity that has been built up by generations of use of a phrase by a major company can somehow be duplicated with clever wordsmithing (this lofty illusion also applies to logo design).

The best tagline is perhaps a quote about your unique skills from an executive at one of your satisfied clients - and their photo to back it up.

The quotes will all be different - but then again - I assume your services for each client are similarly unique.
