Need Great, Quirky, Eyecatching Gift Boutique Name

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am looking at expanding my home business and making the leap to have a store front. My current name is Oopsie Daisie but recently changed it to Personally Yours. As I love both, I am looking for a name that fits a store that will offer monogramming, personalizing, invitations, gifts, knick-knacks, etc. The only other business in this area that would be any competition is called Frill Seekers and that is very close to this area.
Now my target is mainly women from the age of 16-70. and the area we live in is a beach town on the emerald coast. There once was a store called Pink Palm that was similar but has since closed. I truly will be the only one in this area offering this and want a catchy, trendy, whimsy name. Any suggestions?

Did you join a franchise? Personally Yours is a name that is already taken - they too do personalization on items - so you may need to rethink the name if you're not joining forces with them.

Your current name - Oopsie Dasie is cute and the web presence that I found has potential. I don't know if I would change the name, especially if you already have a loyal band of online shoppers that are accustomed to your brand and services. The wiser option may be to invest in a solid marketing communications strategy for the retail location and work on growing your existing customer base into your local community and with vacationers.

Since you already have email addresses for your online customers you can do a great deal with email marketing to promote the retail location. Offer coupon incentives or a free goodie should your online customers visit your new location and grow your customer base organically through links and enhancements to the web site.

Think about what would make people on vacation stop at your store, and more importantly take time out of their vacation or travels to seek out your store. Their shopping experience MUST be exceptional - first impressions are critical here.
