Business Name For Allergy Free Cake Business?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I need a business name for a home-based business providing allergy free cakes.

As a mum with 2 children with anaphylaxis, I have needed to provide my own kids with cakes that they can consume without having to worry if they are going to have a reaction and get sick. My children take their own allergy free 'safe' cakes to other children's birthday parties, so they don't feel left out. Having researching the current cake/kids party market there is an opportunity for a business providing affordable allergy free cakes for kids.

The cakes (cup cakes and party cakes - all shapes/designs, characters etc) can be peanut, treenut, egg, dairy or gluten free or a combination of all these. I will also make 'non allergy free' cakes but the main focus is on the 'allergy free' element and the fact that I would, and obviously do, serve these cakes to my own children so they are safe.

I am not sure if I should follow the 'allergy free focus' or keep it a straight forward 'cake' focus.

All suggestions will be considered and appreciated.

For a product like this you need to be super focused and super clear.

Alergy Free Cakes - describes your niche perfectly.

You can add more flavor with a spicy tagline.

Beware, unless you are in a large metropolis your niche is pretty small.

Definitely, definitely focus on the allergy-free angle. Put it front-and-center in your name. And don't make it sound like it's just for kiddie birthdays, unless that's the only kind of cake you want to sell.

You will stand out from the other bakers, that's for sure. And think about creating a simple brochure that educates customers about this issue. Even if they're not worried about what their own families consume, they should be thinking about what's best for their guests. (Maybe that's another tagline possibility -- What's Best for Your Guests.)
