It seems that big events bring lots of stress for the host: Will it be right? Will so and so be on time? Will the weather be good? Did I order enough ..? Will everyone be happy? I think you need to chose a tagline that puts the host at easy and demonstrates that they can turn it over to the pros.

Your target market (corporate and families) makes this a bit of a challenge. With event planning there will be a lot of angst on the part of the client. They will want things to be just right, perfect, memorable, etc. Anything that reasures them that everything will be just right is will be important.

On the family side of things "Heirloom Events" jumps out with a tag line of "Because great events live in the family forever."

Great events can also be part of a person's legacy to the family, so there may be some opportunity in the naming and tag lining with the concept of "legacy."

How exciting all of this is. Good luck.

    Sincerely,
    Aaron H.

    Chardacre,

A few questions ... not to be a pain, but because it will help us come up with better taglines:

First, WHY do you need to come up with a tagline? What will be different when you have one? How will you use it, and why is it important?

Next, what is the name of your company? The tagline would ideally punctuate the benefit you provide, not simply repeat the name.

Third, what are you trying to communicate with the tagline? What is the compelling benefit promise that will make a difference to your target audience?

Fourth, I think you want to be a bit more specific (and narrow) in your target audience definition. Where is the "sweet spot" for your product/service? What country/region/city or other geographic area? Who is the decision maker? What do you know about the needs and values of the decision maker?

Next, how are people going to learn about you? Have you thought about your marketing plan? If you're going to place ads in a local paper, that's a lot different than if you're going to rely on word-of-mouth. Do you have an existing logo?

Finally, how are you going to know when we come up with the winning tagline? What are the criteria? If you can define that, there's a chance we can help you.

If this is a really important project for you, and you're committed to coming up with a tagline quickly, let me suggest you go to 911 Marketing Help and click on Tagline Factory at the bottom of the screen. You'll have to pay an affordable consulting fee, but you'll be assured that some real professionals are on the case for you.
