Media Production Name

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Hi all. TwitchyFish here again... I've come up with a name I believe sounds good, but figured I'd bring it here for the true test. I am looking for a name for a movie production/media creation company, and I've settled upon "BlurShift Media" as the name. It sounds like "BlueShift," but there are literally like 20 companies that use that name. And BlurShift seems more film-y. What do you think?

I don't care for it. I don't think you want blur to be attached to your company. I would think with film being blurry would not be a positive attribute.

Being creative with names is great, but you do not want to introduce negative connotations.

    My Two Cents.

The problem (in my mind) is that "blur" connotes both motion and lack of visual clarity. Therefore, I wouldn't suggest it. Instead, consider names like: KeenMotion Media, Razor Media, etc.
