Need Name For New Innovative Marketing Co.

We are three (3) executives / business owners in hospitality and entertainment / nightlife industry starting a new marketing co. Have found the need to start a new marketing co. between us, necessary for each industry and away from traditional marketing strategies.

We need an edgy and catchy name for this new company. Does the name Marketing truly need to be in this new name or domain name?

The new company will offer innovative, new technologies in attracting potential clients. Will be using text, bluetooth, internet marketing, direct impact (stamp) marketing, and more.

    No, "marketing" doesn't have to be in your name. But it makes it much easier for people to figure out what you do. If your name is "WhizzBang" and your tagline is "Using The Latest Technology To Find Clients" then it sounds like you do marketing, but you might be doing advertising, or consulting, or ... ? If you don't make the purpose somewhat explicit, then you'll be spending $ educating people exactly what you do.

    On the other hand, if you have some high profile clients from the get-go, and your business spreads by word-of-mouth, then the name doesn't matter. However, betting the company on viral referrals is quite risky.

    Don't over-think this. Use something simple and memorable.

    Wow, Phil is pretty harsh. Actually Phil, its a much needed new Marketing strategy that is currently not being used by any of our companies, so it won't fail, and already has huge clients waiting in the aisles to sign up.

    Thanks for the other opinions on the name ideas. Basically, just wanted a simple, yet catchy name. Cutting edge marketing strategies for existing companies that are not using them. Being in the Nightlife industry, my partners in the Hospitality and Promotions industry, allows us to use cross marketing strategies never used before. Very simple actually.

    Love abracadabra, just don't want it to sound cheesy.

    A namee like CrissCross Marketeers or Marketing Company will be a better name for your company because u three were working in hospitality but of different type of streams it will help you and your business.

    I always like the idea of incorporating names. For instance, my last name is Bisbee, so I went with Bizzybee Marketing, which also describes me as well as the life of a marketing agency. Maybe you could take parts of your names and combine them somehow, first or last. You can usually come up with something pretty unique this way.
