You ARE the brand!
Whatever you look like, talk like, sound like, behave like, the advice you give, the way you treat clients, and on and on.
No one can give you a brand.
You have to create it.
If you think that giving you a logo, or a fancy name, or an "edgy" tag line, forget it.
That is NOT branding.
You will build your brand slowly, methodically, with one thing in mind: consistency, and standing true to the values you believe in and deliver.
That's the only way, no shortcuts, no make up, no cosmetics.

FYI- I call "cosmetics" and "make up" anything that is false or pretentious in marketing.
Obviously, you took it personally, no insult intended, my apologies.

And by the way, everything I said is true.
As a branding instructor at the U. of C. and as a branding practitioner for the last 30 years, I gave you only the short answer.

The second thing I know is this. My wife is one of Chicago's most successful real estate agents, for the last 30 years. Obviously she started precisely from the point you are in now, with the "unfair" advantage of having a branding guru as a husband...
