I think it is a creative name. Possible tag lines:

"Walk in cute, walk out a princess"
"Princessfactory"
"Because you are beautiful"
"From pretty to princess!"

Cute As A Bow-tique stresses the bow, and loses the consignment name. Instead, how about: Children Consignment Bow-tique? This adds the important word (consignment) to clearly articulate your business. The problem is "bow-tique" sounds right, but looking at the printed word, my first though is it has something to do with dogs.

Bubbles and Blooms has a kids ring to it, but isn't descriptive of what you're selling.

A name that you have to live with (hopefully) for a long while, you should spend some time on. Also, you'll need to ensure that the name hasn't already been taken as a DBA filing before creating signage.

The Little Bow-tique - Children's Consignment Clothing and Accessories

I kind of like this as it has many conotations. Bow, boutique, Little Beau Peep.

I would make sure that your tagline identifies what the shop is. Otherwise, Jay is right Bow Wow can come to mind.

From what I read you seem to be catering toward girls. If not, I think all these names need to be ree-vaulated

Phil...I do understand what you are saying, here is why I want to change the name....

A...I do NOT like it...the name is

Oh Baby!
Kids, Maternity and more

B. the current owner and employees have driven many consignors away from her shop for
- being very rude, impossible to work with, quality has gone down and prices have went up etc...

this is what I have been told from past and current customers. I have read bad comments about her shop on the internet also...

I do not want to be associated with the name..I understand..when advertising (under new ownership etc...) might make those people come back. But I really just want it all my own. New Name..repaint ( I don't want people to walk in and say..it looks exactly like Oh Baby!...it needs to be cleaned up (too much stuff in there) Sure that is all just cosmetic things..keeping the old name and doing all of the other stuff, will make it better but no I just do NOt want to keep the name... But thank you for your input, I greatly appreciate it.

I am trying to keep the name neutral...as I will carry both boys and girls clothing

As for the name I pick

(bow for hair bow for girls and bow for bow tie for boys)

What if I change it to..

Cute As A Boutique

what would be a good tag line for that?
