Manufacturing And Name/tagline

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I took some kids white plain tennis shoes and a pair of rain boots and added my own designs. A design I would like to use not only on kids shoes but accessories and other kids items as well. My problem is, I'v have not been able to get past the prototype I made, meaning where I can have samples made, I'd rather do business in the USA whereas I can travel to local cities as opposed to outside of the USA, also I have not been able to come up with a name or tagline for my design as well.

This may, or may not be of interest. On the updates I get weekly from Springwise they reported of companies (Ked if I remember right) that allow you to design tennis shoes. I admit I did not study it in depth - wasn't something I was in to. However, as I understood it - the designs are then made available to others on line and you get a percentage of the sales. Seems like there was a similar situation but the reward was having your design chosen for mass production.

First blush - unless you are manufacturing the shoe, it would not be an easy business to get in to. You might be best served to try and align yourself as a designer with a distributor to Payless, KMart, Target, Wally World, or someone similar. There are other posters who have much more expertise in this area - I don't need any points - give them to somebody who actually helps you!!!!

    Good Luck!
