Make Up Artist

I am a make up artist and need a name to promote my business. I mainly deal with bridal hair and make up.

Any ideas??

    How do you market your services? Have you been in contact with local bridal boutiques and been involved in any bridal shows? You may also want to hook up with some Mary Kay Consultants or Arbonne Consultants. Another point of contact would be popular wedding photographers. You definitely want to network with all of these folks.

    I would just use your name with a make-up referencing tagline rather than trying to come up with a company name, especially one that is wedding related. Why limit yourself to just bridal make-up? Especially if you start networking with photographers, that could open you open to doing make up for photo shoots or portraits.

    If you look at the top make up artists (the late, great Kevyn Aucoin always comes first to my mind, Bobbie Brown second), they build their brands on their name and work, not with catchy titles.

    I agree...I think using my name will be better. I want something similar to Creations by Poonam but its quite common so anythng along those lines would be good if anyone has any more ideas.
