Which Name Is Better

A co-worker wants to change his title to Director of Cross Selling Opportunities (it's currently Director of Business Development), but our boss wants his title to be Director of Vertical Integration. Which is better? His job is to sell the services of all of our business units (8 total) to both new and existing customers.

    Certainly not Director of Cross Selling Opportunities. "Vertical Integration" is better, but I don't know that it is clear enough, of course, I am guessing what his job description is (which would be a very helpful peice of information).

    Director of business development is the way to go. Anything else will lead to hours of explanation to the people you should be selling to.
