Looking For A Catchy Name For Yoga Studio! Help!!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am looking to open and start my own very small yoga studio in the interior of BC, but need a very catchy, quick and to the point name that is also available as a dot com address as well. I teach all sorts and types of classes, so a specific type of yoga is not suitable for the name. I also offer doula services (birthing coach and labour support assistant). Plus I will be offering pilates and reiki as part of the overall full service business I will be operating!! Please any help would be great!! Cheers!!

Here's just a few quick ideas:

YOGA nafeel GREAT! (obviously, this could easily be done with the appropriate fonts/colors, etc.)

    YOGAna smile!

    YOGA na STRETCH!

    Breathe. Stretch. Leave.

YOGA. small name. stretch it out.

    Reach. Hold. Breathe.

    Gasp!

Some of these are trendy, fun, and easily understandable once read aloud, some may be stupid. Ultimately, hopefully these ideas will spark something in your mind! This is what your business needs to get people talking about it. Not necessarily these specific names, but something that is worth remarking on and easily memorable.

    Good Luck!
    Thanks,

    *Flexifiers
    *Flex Factory
*Yoga Nation [Have a Yoga Nation flag as your logo, perhaps a Canadian flag with a silhouette of a person in the lotus position in place of the maple leaf]

You have a problem because you have a number of services that don't quite fit together: Yoga + Doula + Pilates + Reiki. Either your name can focus on "health" or "yoga" (to attract people who want to study yoga). If you choose "health", then your menu of services would be in your marketing materials and perhaps tagline.

You might also want to consider a .ca domain address, either in addition to/instead of a .com address, since you're a local business in Canada.

Here are a few more suggestions:

    Flex&Bend

    YOGreAt

    inBalance

Yoga on 9th (replace 9th with the name of the street where your studio is located)

    Yoga to Go

    Yoga 4Life

LifeBalance (then tie in Yoga in the tagline)

    Yoga4You

    Yoga Your Way

Yoga+ (explain the + in the tagline)

    Yoga&More or More Than Yoga

    The Centered Pretzel

This definitely fits the bill of being quirky and has lots of fun connotations that could give you lots of logo options.

You would definitely need a tagline that will give people a better idea of what you do. You are really going to need a tagline anyways with the variety of services you wish to offer.
