Investing In Saskatchewan

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Need a tagline to entice saskatchewan people to invest in Saskatchewan. Key is investing here in the province, because its working well even in times of trouble in the global markets...

Hope that makes sense...

Buy low, sell high! After 16 years of the NDP, the Saskatchewan economy couldn't get any lower, but now that we have a NEW government, BUY before it ALLLLLL goes up here!

    Ooops, just a little long.

When times are good, they aren't that good. When times are bad, they aren't that bad. Saskatchewan, a constant sucking pressure. No wait, not optimistic enough.

Saskatchewan not just free medicare anymore!

    Hmmm, not bad, warming up!

Oh, wait....Lorne Calvert paid a million dollars for an exclamation mark.....how about a Million Marketing Profs points for this one:

    $

Okay, got a few more ideas to submit for those millions and millions of POINTS!

    $a$katchewan.

Okay, that's worth at least two million, isn't it?

    Here comes some more.

Saskatchewan: what else you gonna do with the money? Move?!

Saskatchewan: Its just like Alberta, but before they had their 25 year boom.

Saskatchewan: We may as well dictate your ROI too.

But, on a more serious note:

    Saskatchewan: invest at home.

Saskatchewan: hard to spell, easy to invest.

Saskatchewan: profit is not a dirty word

    Safe, Secure, Saskatchewan.

    Saskatchewan: investing for growth

Saskatchewan: good work ethic, stable values, solid returns.

What type of investment are you looking to attract? New business? Non-profits? Real-estate purchase?

Why would someone invest in Saskatchewan? What's the benefit/payoff for them?

Like any other marketing challenge, the first place to look is for the positioning benefit. Once you have your value proposition well defined and articulated it becomes much easier to develop the tagline or slogan.

Consider all the other alternative places people can invest. Why is Saskatchewan a better place to invest? You're not going to convince many people using smoke and mirrors. You have to have a substantive reason that people will accept.

    I like Darcy's ideas.
    You could add -

It might be safer than wall street

if you have to spell it, you can't afford it - no wait, you can't afford not to

It just might be a good thing, maybe, eh

    Money is tight, we're tighter

    why the hell not?

Ask not what your province can do for you, but what you can do for your province (has a familiar ring).

    Or how about,

Invest in the future of your children and grandchildren - invest in Sask. (I can't spell it)

    Good Luck!
