Tagline For 7day Turnaround Tool And Mower Service

Posted by Anonymous on 800 Points
I need to develop an emotionally connective tag line for our new national service network for lawn mower and construction tool repair.

The brand word to this service is convenience, because it makes fast service/repair accessible to consumers with a trip to their local hardware store. I have been struggling with the convenience attribute, but this functional benefit does not yield the emotional hook that we need.

I would like to focus it on the benefits to the customers life. Or attach "love" to the proposition (love the service, our love is free, when you love your tools) but can't quite get a tag to communicate the answer to this question: how will your life be better when you use our repair service?

And of course I am wide open to other suggestions especially plays on words and phrases.

I'm not sure I'd attach "love" to construction tools. I'd rather see you connect low-cost, quality, professional, factory-authorized, and/or guaranteed to the tagline.

If you're looking for an emotional appeal, you might try a line that helps customers feel like they are recognized (by family/neighbors) as an expert, knowledgeable craftsperson ... not an ignorant buffoon whose equipment never seems to work right.

Of course, you probably ought to base the appeal on a latent need of your primary target audience. That requires some kind of research to get at the underlying emotional reward they seek.

If you need some suggestions for quick and effective research approaches, contact me offline. I've done this before for clients, and it works quite well.

Have your thought about trying to get in with the likes of Home Depot. They obviously have a huge network and many of them could provide rentals while their equipment was being repaired. I guess another possible partner could be tool rental places as people may turn to them when their equipment is not working.

    Hope this helps,

How about... "Love your tools - but hate to wait"?

    or... "Love your tools 100%"

or.. "Because faulty tools are no joke"
