Website Url With

Hi-

I am working on a website for a cooperative organization and we have run into a disagreement between how the url should read. It relates to using either "coop" or "co-op" in the url.

For instance, if this were a glass mfg. co-op, which is better in your opinion:

[inactive link removed]
or
[inactive link removed]

we would register both but promote one and that is the big question... which do we promote?

What's your opinion? (using "cooperative" is out btw)

    i would stick with coop.

Register both, but promote the one without the hyphen. Redirtect the one with the hyphen to the one without.

Definitely skip the hyphen. Entering it, and spelling it out to people, is a disaster. However, I would also suggest a different word altogether. It might be misread as "coop" (as in chicken).

That's exactly the issue... can't change the word though.

    Thanks for all the responses.
