Engineering Department Tagline

I'm trying to create a tagline/motto for an industrial engineering department at a large public university and need some suggestions please!

A little background about the department:
- we were the first industrial engineering department in the world (1909)
- we believe in hands-on education
- we are a respected department in the US
- we are striving to build our international reputation by highlighting our global impact (research and education)
- we are known nationally for our research
- we are innovative and forward-thinking
- our programs are ranked in the top five by US News

Some of my ideas:
- World class education. International influence.
- Hands-on learning, worldwide application.
- Innovative research. International impact.

    I think you have a winner with
    Hands-on learning, worldwide application

    but you might soup it up a bit by modifyinig it to

    Hands-on education, International Influence
