Ideas Needed Naming A Video Portal Website

Hi all, my company/website is going to launch a new online video guide/portal website worldwide & I'm looking for a tagline/slogan/website name. So far, I haven't found a catchy name or slogan for the website as yet, therefore I'm looking for helpful ideas to help me out here...

The slogan/website name should be dynamic, catchy, unique and should point out to the online video community worldwide.

I was looking at including my surname on the website which is "dublin" but i don't think that would work that well, ive noticed that theres quite a few websites online that include online video guide or online video portal, so i was looking at some different and unique ideas if possible.

I also feel a short website name works better as people tend to remember shorter websites.

    What service/product will you be offering on your site. I guess I am confused by video guide or video portal. Are you doing reviews, selling videos, provding videos for download, etc. If you provide this information I might be able to think of some appropriate names.

    Hi Mikee, thanks for your response, my website will be a online video guide, where i place website links from other peoples video websites on to my very own website.

    so lets say for instances, you clicked on my site and was looking for a music or movie clip to watch then you might end up clicking on, lets say you tube, once you click on you tube, you would then divert to there website.

    so basically my website will be a video directory if you catch my drift, sorry for the long winded story.

    now i don't think my surname is any good in this case as consumers would think my site was only ment for a certain area as my surname is dublin.

    I'm just looking for something catchy and unique, i was looking at some names like: - online video guide or maybe online video directory but to me it sounded not unique enough and bit plain.

    what do you think mikee? any ideas as yet?

    It's a great idea, but do yourself a favor and put "best web videos" into Google search.

    You'll see the supply of video directories already exceeds demand, probably by a trillion percent.

    Maybe the only thing left is to try niche/vertical and see if you can pick up any interested advertisers that way. Such as www.besthorrorvideos.com, www.bestcomedyvideos.com, etc. etc.
