I'm very new to SEO and am excited by the technology! I am a graphic designer by trade, with a little experienced with web design, but still learning.
I manage my company's site. we are an engineering company. Part of our site consists of PDF documents of past projects. There are 40 in total. I'm wondering if I should convert the PDFs to web pages, to make them searchable/tag-able? Or is there a way to do this as they stand, without having to change them all to web pages?
The site is www.sfceng.com The site was built a long time before I got here and I would love to change it to include videos (I already have one on youtube, but will be doing more "how to" style), and I would like to add an "ask the expert" section this year. First things, first, should I get rid of these PDF files (they were all high res, huge files when I got here, so at least I fixed that)
Thanks!
