You need to provide us with some information about your primary target audience and the key positioning benefit they would realize if they hire you. Where are you located? How do your prospects choose a tax prep company? What are the benefits they want that they're not getting today?

The name is of secondary importance in this case, because you want to be seen as highly professional and technically competent. You want to communicate trustworthiness and reliability, accuracy and intimate familiarity with tax laws/regulations and accounting practices, software and business planning.

You might want to consider using either your own name or some name that lets people know who you serve (e.g., "Elm City Business Services"). As soon as you get into names that sound "promotional" (e.g., "Audit-Resistant Tax Prep Partners") you risk compromising the perception of professionalism.

Start this process with a positioning exercise. It will make the job much easier ... and you'll ultimately end up with a better name.
