Combining Two Landscaping Companies

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I've recently paired up with a local landscaper in my area. We both have successful businesses however both realize it would be most beneficial if we could join forces. Now we are faced with coming up with a new name. We would love to somehow have both existing names related to the new one, at least to the extent where some one could be like "OHHH, that's how you got it!" meaning it doesn't have to be obvious, but it does need to be somehow present. Other suggestions are welcome too however. The two names are:
1)Rayzors Edge (Ray is the owners name)
2)Happy Grass Lawncare
Our only other request is that it is a little most creative than Rayzors Grass or Happy Edge. Thanks in advance!

I would start by thinking about what words you would put in a google search to find your business, e.g. landscape maintenance, lawn service (your region).

(Your region could be city, famous landmark, or ...)

Once you have a phrase that your customers will believe represents your position, it will be easier to creatively express it as a brand.

    GreenCut, LawnMowers To Go etc

    hope this helps

What do you provide? Landscape design and installation. lawn care, gardening (weeding, pruning, maintenance). This may make a difference in the name.

Personally I would not worry too much about trying to combine the names unless you have a ton of name recognition. Find a name that makes a point.
