Beyond that, let me suggest that a boutique clothier can't be everthing to everyone. By nature a boutique is unique. Your strength will be in your focus. That's not to say you shouldn't offer dresses, accessories, and generally all sorts of stuff. But, I am saying you should be offering your customers something very special. Think not in terms of the stuff in your store but rather the hearts of your customers. What are your customers really coming in for? It's not having materials on their backs to keep them warm and protected. Do they want to project some sense of status? Do they want to look young? Sophisticated? Hip? Do they want to look an be perceived as being different from women who shop at chain stores? You know your customers better than anyone. Dig deep and discover what emotional triggers make them choose you. Whatever it is, that's what your ad should tell people. And, that's what your tagline should evoke.
