Name The Owl!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I'm about to use a caricature of an Owl as a teacher / professor in a training program, and I'd like to give Mr. Owl a name that's appropriate to his task.

The only owlish name that comes to mind is "Hootie," the spokesperson in the publid service spot themed "Give a Hoot, Don't Pollute."

I'm looking for something more suitable to a teacher / professor, though I'll certainly consider other appropriately owlish names as well.

I'd appreciate it if you ladies and gents would put on your thinking caps and dive in on this project.

    Professor Hoot
    Professor Wise
    Professor Wisebird orDr. Wisebird

(Prefer the "Professor" title since you are focusing on an education/training theme --- to me Dr. always seems to mean "medical".)

    Good Luck!

What about Spencer? As in he dispenses info to the students. May be too much of a stretch though . . .

Professor somethings seem a little outdated. Besides, using an owl and calling him professor is see-say.

If you want him/her more casual, even a little hip, give your owl a first name.

    Charles
    Aristotle

Do owl characters have a traditionally masculine personas? Have you thought about making him a her?

I like the idea of giving the owl some personality characteristics beyond a name. Inquisitiveness certainly. Maybe an accent.
