Name For A Charity Event

Dear Forum members,

I need your help to come up with a catchy event name and tagline for a fundraiser I'm volunteering my services for. It's a joint effort of two community groups (The Edmonton "Linked-In" Business and Social Network, and the Greenlight Community of Edmonton) to raise funds for cancer research. We have the consent and cooperation of the Cancer Research Foundation.

The event tickets will be $100 -- the evening will include a very elegant sit-down Chinese dinner, a fashion show, Chinese lion dance and other entertainment. Funds will be raised through ticket sales and event sponsors.

Our working title is rather long-winded. We need something short and catchy that will get people excited.

    Tinker, I think you've really captured the sentiment of the evening.

    tanujathapliyal06, I think "open up your heart" really touches the 'heart.' Any thoughts on how we can tweak it for cancer?

    Richard, capturing the East West link is a great idea.

    Jay, I like how you combined both communities and the event together.

    What do you all think of a suggestion made offline? One of the organizers has suggested: Eat for the Cure.

    Do you think it's too 'common' for a gala event? Do you see any unintended meanings there?
