School Boy Journey

Posted by art on 500 Points
My friends kid is going on a journey - 87km hike over 24 days - the aim is for them to 'find themselves'. It's almost survivor style - carry their own food and prepare it, they'll get various tasks etc...

There are 5 groups of 20, they are group 3 - they need a slogan and logo for their group which will be printed on t-shirts.

Their age group is 14/15.

Any ideas for a slogan would be appreciated…
It should be young, fun, hip – no boring journey into your soul kind of quotes…

Thanks in advance.

How about printing a nice quote??I have a collection of few quotes, but do not know if they can be used to print on t-shirts. Hope it helps..

I think they should come up with their own slogan and concept for a logo. That would help with the purpose of the group.

As JudyJudyJudy suggests, the group's collaboration on a slogan and logo could enhance camaraderie and bonding. With that in mind, approach my idea as a jumping-off point.

The word "TRI" forms the upper line of a point-down triangle. Running upper left to lower right, the word "LEARN" forms the triangle's left side. Running lower left to upper right, the word "GROW" forms the triangle's right side.

Within the triangle, the name "Group 3" differs in size and font from the surrounding words.

I'm with JudyJudyJudy. Let them come up with their own slogan so it's really THEIRS.

One thought for a starting point would be to use the three I's (that's letter I) that make up the three in Group III. Come up with words they think are appropriate that start with the letter I ... Initiative, Independence, Ideals, Intrepid, etc. Then let the slogan basically be "Group III -- Independent. Intelligent. Intrepid" (or whatever). You can pick up the color/style of the III for each of the I's in the three adjectives.

Most important is to let them be responsible for the slogan.
