A Name And Theprocess For The New Log Query System

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
I want to implement a system where queries can be logged. ie:
• Internal audit findings
• External audit findings
• Customer complaints
• Customer feedback
• Non-conformance reports
• Opportunities for improvement

The idea is to channel items to areas of responsibility, and also to combine items of similar subject, but also to measure our performance on solving and improvement of items we are not so good at or that poses a risk.

I need your assistance by giving a name for this system. Should I involve all staff to come up with some ideas for the names and award a prize for the best name?
How could I raise awareness for the launch of this system?

Not sure I understand what the objective is. What's the REASON you're looking for a name? Who are you trying to influence? What's going to be different when you have a name?

What would be wrong with something like "ABC System" or something that includes the company name? Or, if you want something a little "cute" you might name it after an animal or a fruit -- "The Strawberry System" or the "Kangaroo System." Or Greek/Roman gods, or mythical characters, historical/fictional characters (Cleopatra? Methuselah? Napoleon? El Cid?), etc.

It's just not clear what the objective is, so coming up with good names is kind of difficult.

We used a similar system previously, but it did not have a name. The objective is to bring awareness to the staff that this is now refreshed and they should take advantage and utilize it. Therefore we need to give the system a name and find ways to promote to the staff.

Naming contests always work well...to generate interest. They don't always give the best names so you'll need a fall back; like a pre-picked winner who shares the prize with 2 others.

Since it's an internal system, look at your mission statement. There are usually some key words there that will help
