Costume Jewelry Name

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My sister and I have a small costume jewelry and handbag company called Tickled Pink. Our Local wholesalers name is Tickled Pink and she wanted us to use her name since we only buy her products. We agreed. We have spent a year building up her name inturn building up our business. After some disagreements we decided to brach out on our own and need to change the name quickly. We have some major shows coming up and we are to get new marketing items (New business cards, postcards, logo etc.) We were thinking of Pinkee Swear..."You will love our prices....Pinkee Swear" Our jewery and handbags are all under $45. We wanted to keep the "Pink" in there because of all the pink displayes and such we have. Any ideas on a new company name? Please Help!

"Pinky Promise" sounds like a good, quick solution to me, for the reasons D4D suggests.

What you really need is a quick reworking of your brand identity. Do you have a good graphic designer who can help you with the transition? If not, that should be high priority for you.

You might also want to create a tagline that gives people a clue as to what you do and what benefit they might expect if they deal with you.

"Pinky Promise" (or "Tickled Pink," for that matter) doesn't exactly tell people what to expect.

And "Pinky Swear" might be even more obscure for many. Not sure I'd do that unless/until I had some reason to think my target audience responds positively. If you weren't in such a hurry, I might even suggest some fast inexpensive consumer research on the name.

Thank you for the great feedback. Do you have any ideas if for names that might be catchy that don't use the word Pink? Again, it is costume jewelry and handbags that looks expensive but are under $45. It is my sister and I company. So any feedback is GREATLY appreciated.

I need a catchy name for my jewellery business.

I sell silver and silver with gold hand-made jewellery.
Every piece is unique and different.Rings, bracelets, watches, earrings, small amount of necklaces.
The jewellery is imported and designed by myself and other artisans.

I had a few names in mind :
    UNIQAH,
    UNIQUAH

    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot,
    Alex
