Need A Name For A Commercial/residential Paint Co.

My husband has been running his own painting/remodeling business for several years now. With the recession and people getting tighter with their money, it has been necessary for him to find his own niche. He has been talking about it for awhile anyway and painting is really where most of his experience lies.

He really wants to focus on painting for more of the high end residential and smaller commercial work. We are also looking to take the business to that next level so to speak. He is already doing well and want to take the business up a notch. The problem lies in finding a name that fits all of this. We don't want something to generic, but we do want something people will remember.

Our last name is Bourne, so we have thought about Bourne Painting or Bourne Contractors. Also, we live in the Tennessee Valley in North Alabama. We have thought about Tennessee Valley Painting, but there is already a Tennessee Valley Contractors. This is also a pretty generic/common name in our area.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I really like Phil's "Bourne to Paint" approach, especially with a tagline that speaks to quality, professional work ... and possibly the extension to other remodeling services.

    This is one case where the pun on your name actually communicates a strategic message -- that you (or your husband) has a passion for painting that leads to superior quality work.

    And it's memorable for sure.
