Naming An International Currency Exchange Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Here is the dilemma: The organization has a head office in most major cities in the world. Major key words are security, relationships and trust. We need to find a name that encompasses one of these words in some way, but also fits the following criteria:

1. Does not end with the suffix "fx" or "ex" as most others in the industry do.

2. Ideally, we want a ".com" because of the global nature of the company.

3. The word/name needs to be short. Something that is easy to say quickly and can be pronounced in most dialects.

If you can provide name suggestions or even some strategy to finding the name, that would be great. Love you Marketing Profs!

What's the name of the organization? Ideally, the domain name would connect with it.

If you're renaming a company that has offices around the world, then I'd strongly suggest hiring a consultant to help with the naming effort. Finding a name that works in most languages (and doesn't have a negative connotation in any of them) is non-trivial.

The keywords of "security, relationships, and trust" are assumed for your industry. If you're looking to create a stronger tagline/business name you'll need to describe how your company is much better/different from your competition, who you're trying to attract, etc. Tell us more to better give you some ideas.
