Established Electrical Contractor Seeking Tagline

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Hi there,

Having stumbled on this site and read some excellent ideas and posts I wondered if anyone could help with a Tagline for our company.

We are heavily involved with BNI (Business Networking) in a number of chapters in the UK and would like to establish a strong Tagline to use both in BNI and throughout our barnding, i.e Vehicles, Signage, Letterheads, Business cards etc.

We are a long established Electrical Contractors working mainly locally for Domestic and Commercial customers alike. We have a good client base and our customers tend to come back time and again. We receive a fairly good proportion of referrals from our referral partners but would like to offer an alternative way for people to remember us. Our Company name is Conger Electrical. We have toyed with up to now:

"Giving you the Power to Perform"
"Next time you blow a fuse, you'll know who to use"
"When your lights go out - give us a shout"

The latter two are ok in the BNI scenario but dont seem to travel across to the brand image too well.

Your help is very much appreciated as we are all electricians and not marketing gurus! You can check out our website at www.conger-uk.co.uk if you need to know more.

Thank you so much for your responses and comments. I like the comment regarding providing over giving, that makes a lot of sense. Power, Performance, Proffesionalism is also good although I'm not sure if it says everything I'm trying to say but that is the hardest part. Thank you also Jay for your comments, unfortunately I would have to say I would prefer to keep the word shocking out of the tag line but thanks anyway.

I will keep the question open for now before awarding points.

    My Best Wishes
