Tagline For A Renewable Energy Recruitment Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I need a tagline for a renewable /oil & gas energy recruitment company. It needs it to be aimed towards the client side of the buisness rather than candidates.

Thanks :)

    hellokitty,

that's it? that's all you're going to give us :-)

We need more background to do you any good. More about your business, client side target, marketplace, competition ...

Why do you want a tagline? What do you think it will do for you? Does your current company name communicate a unique positioning benefit?

We need to understand your situation and environment better if we're really going to help. Where are you? Who are your primary target clients? Where are they? Why should they hire you instead of one of the dozens of others in your business?

How would you evaluate the tagline suggestions we come up with? What criteria would you use to pick a winner? If you can tell us that, there's a good chance we can help. Without it, there's a good chance we can't.

Sorry for the lack of info!!

We are moving into recruitment in the US and therefore want a tag line which will be used on emails, mailshots etc to our US clients. The reason for the tagline is it has been noticed that a number of our US clients use them.

We want something that our clients will remember and suggests that we are the 1st point of call for all recruitment needs.

We are based in the UK and our clients are companies within the Renewable Energy sector and Oil and Gas so for example Wind turbines, solar power etc. We recruit for engineering and technical roles within this sector.

In terms of picking the winner - I'm not sure, I guess something that sounds good and works for the company.

    Thanks

Who is going to decide what "sounds good" or "works for the company?" How do you measure those things?

And you still haven't told us who your target audience is. When you say "recruitment" do you mean recruiting employees or turning up sales leads?

And as for taglines being used by your US-based clients, that's not a great reason to have one, IMHO. It's not that there's anything wrong with taglines, but that if their only reason for being is to be like others, then you'll never know if the time, effort and money you put into developing a tagline was worth it.
