Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

A few comments/questions:

1. Why a "catchy" name? Wouldn't you rather choose a name that conveys a strategic positioning message, so people will understand why they should consider your shop for their purchases? As a rule, "catchy" doesn't sell. Sound positioning benefits sell.

2. The age group 10 to 50 is way too broad for a target audience. There are hundreds of millions of people in that group, and it won't be easy or inexpensive to reach that audience. You might consider limiting it to one city or country, and figuring out which of the women between 10 and 50 you really want. (Hint: Most 10-year-olds don't make purchase decisions for ladies tailoring and dress material purchases.)

Help us by thinking through the target audience issue and the real benefit they'll realize when they buy from you. Come at the benefit from the customer's point of view, not from your own. Why should they buy from you instead of from your competition? What's in it for them? What's the real benefit ... not just the physical products you'll deliver?
