I am considering a little horse treat business. I want to offer an alternative to traditional dry & hard, or typical sweet feed based treats that are laden with sugars. Although this helps to extend the shelf life; especially when stored at the barn, I want something that is back to basics and wholesome. I have the ability to dehydrate fruit's/veggies - something that is not mass produced (yet) and certainly not easily found in your local tack shop. I am at a loss for treat names/company name....of course there is the typical carrot, apple, Banana. I want to retain the image of eco friendly, locally grown produce. Thought about using our own horses name somewhere (Oliver & Coalminer).
