Tagline Need For Professional Training Company

Posted by Anonymous on 1250 Points
I've been struggling with a tagliney tagline for my company Springboards since the beginning- "Developing strong communicators for a global marketplace." We help international professionals with job acquisition, transition, and promotion all in the name of bettering their communication. We offer a hybrid of Eng. language training, prof. communication, and cultural competency. I'm having my site redone and hate my current tagline. It's so cliche and boring. https://www.springboardsltc.com Any thoughts?

    My quick take --

"provider of Business Language Communication and English Language Training" this phrase is your segment description.

Your position is probably #1, #2 or #3. I entered this phrase in google and there are several competitors that show up in the early results. Honestly, where are you relative to your competitors?

The honest answer to this question, from your customers point-of-view, is your best positioning statement.

Next, you have to convert your statement into a phrase that is most favorable for your brand. Just guessing at something that sounds or feels right is not the best way to go.

    my old tired example:
Avis, we're number two, we try harder

claiming "number two" is the positioning, "trying harder" is the credible benefit.

    Hope this helps,

    Steve

    Dear Nadianassif,

    Thoughts? Indeed. How about these?

Springboard: Because great communicators need great training.
Springboard: Getting you to the top.
Springboard: What every great communicator needs.
Springboard: Giving your career the bounce it needs.
Springboard: Let us propel you to the top.
Springboard: Because your career is worth it.
    Springboard: Where communication meets professionalism.

And further to Phil's comments on your website images: I truly hope the days of the comedian in the second image, and the James Bond lunch box are numbered.

    I hope this helps.
