Tagline, Catchy Name For Financial Planner/coach

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
In need of a tagline and nickname for my business-- I'm a fee only financial planner, work with 35-50 year olds on investments, yes, but mainly the day to day financial stuff that we all face but don't know who to ask. Smart people who want more control over their finances and hate paying too much in taxes.

I like things like "Commonsense Way to Wealth," "Everyday Steward" and "Financial Planning for Life Not Just Milestones" but those are taken. Having trouble coming up with one of my own. Also need a catchy nickname for me or the business (Baehr Family Financial) like "the money coach" or "the relevant advisor" etc.

My brand is down to earth, trustworthy, on your side, good listener, with a faith based tilt. One of my themes is "live with grace and gratitude."

Any help is appreciated!

Many of the values you're stating about your business are assumed. I wouldn't want to do business with a financial planner who isn't trustworthy, on my side, a good listener, etc. So, what IS unique about who you help or what you do? Are you focused on a specific region? Client age/gender/demographic?

The problem with a tagline / nickname is that unless it's well-targeted it's likely to be generic and therefore not say anything useful (and won't stick in people's heads).

    Thanks everyone...
Jay, I hear what you are saying about those being qualities that should be in a financial planner, but my clients and prospects tell me that they don't find those qualities and that's what they are looking for. Typically they find salespeople calling themselves advisors. But I will dig deeper for what can make me unique aside from that.

I agree that a tagline is not what I'm looking for, but rather a promise statement. Something that defines who I am and why I am.

    thanks again.
