Looking For A New Name

Posted by ormancreative on 25 Points
I have a Chevy dealership that is going from the local Chevy dealership to a NAPA Auto Service Center and NAPA Parts store and they will continue to sell just used vehicles. I'm looking for a new name. THey have been _____(name of owner) Chevrolet, but we obviously have to go away from Chevrolet in the name. We can not use NAPA in the new name though. It has to be __________ (whatever name we come up with) your local NAPA Auto Center. Looking for something like Automotive Solution Center, but more creative. Also, trying to decide if we keep the owners name in the name since he is well known in the community. Please help with name suggestions.

Your dealership over the years has built it's brand on the name of the owner. I would not change that.

People know that many dealerships are going out of business or changing their business.

Keep the owners name (I will call him Bill Smith) and look at possibly some of the following:

    Bill Smith Car Care
    Bill Smith Car Care Center
    Bill Smith Automotive Center
    Bill Smith Auto Parts Central
    Bill Smith Auto Repair Center

You might get some good PR in your city if you talk about the fact that your car dealership is gone but you are not out for the count. Bill Smith is back servicing (name of city) with parts, services and yes a few quality used cars as well. What Recession, you can't keep Bill Smith down.

Good luck with your new business.
