Need Name For New Loyalty Card Business.

Posted by MktgDirectorNC on 250 Points
We are starting a new loyalty card program geared specifically for women. Need ideas for name of the card, and possible tag lines/slogans.

The card would allow for discounts at women's boutiques, salons, etc...

Any advice and ideas are welcome :)

You'll need to be a lot more specific about your target audience if you really want us to come up with a name and tagline that will be right for you.

For example, where does your target audience live? What city, state/province, country? And are they upscale, middle-class, budget shoppers or on food stamps (welfare). What else do you know about them? Are they young moms, singles, teens, empty-nesters, etc.?

If your reaction is that they're all of those, living all over the country, then you may need to re-think your marketing strategy and narrow your focus. You'd be a lot more successful gaining a large share of a smaller market than a minuscule share of an enormous market. It will also cost you less to reach a more limited target audience.

If you start with a clear definition of your target market and a clear benefit-oriented positioning statement, we'll be able to help you with the name and tagline very quickly. If not, then we're just guessing at which direction to go.

Thanks for the questions. The target audience is definitely not all of those demographics you listed. The target audience would be women ages 25 - 45, hip, informed, middle to upper class. Mostly targeting women who shop at boutiques, eat at nice restaurants, and go to salon/spas, etc... Located in a highly populated city, with hundreds of boutiques, salons, shopping, etc... within 20 mile radius. The focus would definitely be city wide, and not nationally.
