Need Tagline For

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We are in the process of creating the identity package for "Maverick Stainless" a new company that manufactures stainless steel equipment for the commercial food service industry.

We are taking a different approach to the industry Via a broader product offering than previously or currently exist from a single source. Historically the stainless package has been divided into two categories, and supplied by two vendors. the more simple sink, work/prep table, dish table and other ancillary stainless is supplied by one supplier while the more complex Chefs counters, serving lines etc. comes from yet another manufacturer. Maverick will offer both for a complete solution.

Advantage to the customer is a uniform design, build standard, fit and finish, lower freight cost, less coordination from a single source.

A different approach to the industry thus the name, "Maverick Stainless". the brand and LOGO are simple and clean, i really feel we need a strong but simple tag line to complete the identity. any idea's ?

    How about:

Maverick Stainless: Supplying ALL your food service equipment needs -- including the kitchen sink!

You could easily take parts of other suggestions as well to adjust this: i.e., instead of "Supplying..." - use "Your single source..." or "Your One-stop shop...", etc.

To convey the differentiation of a seamless design:
stainless and seamless, that's Maverick (underline "and")

Your imagery on your website, advertising and promotions would need to convey your positioning statement (aka tag line). Therefore, you might want to think through how you would use a particular statement in all your communications. Also, make sure (talk to your target market) that what you think is a differentiation really is in their mind. Otherwise, your positioning statement won't matter much to them.

    Best wishes!

    For consideration:

    Stainless product with no match.
    Long lasting, match-less stainless.
    The match-less stainless product.
    Stainless individuality.

okay, sorry for the delayed response but its been one of those weeks. no boxes were checked above but I do think some good attempts were made.
    1. the one stop shop is out. it was coined by a supplier of a different product category and they did not execute well...
but maverick is indeed a good source.
    2. the fit and finish refers more to quality than the uniqueness of the offering. Mavericks build quality is on the higher end of the scale and very competitively priced in the market, i view that as a good value.
    3. We are Apart from the rest in the offering and feel like we provide solutions.
I agree with Daniel in regards to the markets perception of our statement, that,s why i feel the statement has to hit home. while we have not formerly surveyed the market our industry contacts customers and sales associates agree there is merit in the business model. I will list some of my thoughts below and then you will see why seek help

    " a different approach, a better solution "
    " stainless solutions "
    " quality, value, solutions"
" a broad approach, better results"
    .......Hmmm. Stuck
    maybe one more round?
