***is It Marketable??????

"Clean Freaks" for a cleaning company name?
Do you think the word freaks brings a negative perception to our company image? How marketable is this name and what demographic does it speak most to? Is Clean Freaks more of a marketing tagline as opposed to a company name?

Market segments would be Residential and Commercial. Middle-to-upper class homes, small offices & salons. Positioning the company to provide better customer satisfaction with competitive prices with other players in the market.

Clean Freaks is the name of some existing cleaning businesses around the US:
    https://www.cleanfreaks.com/
    https://www.cleanfreaks.info/
    https://www.cleanfreak.com/
    https://www.thecleanfreaks.com/
    https://www.cleanfreaks.net/

Take a look at your competition's websites to see who they're targeting and how they're showcasing themselves. Remember that you're trying to balance "competitive prices" with "trust". Clean Freaks would rank high as a competitive price name, but lower on "trust" (without having any experience with the history of the company).

I like it. It reminds me of Geek Squad, which has been very successful.

I like Andy's and Jessica's thoughts. I would add that you shouldn't be worried about upsetting people with the name Clean Freaks. It's a catchy name and speaks about your staff and not your customers. Who wouldn't want a Clean Freak to clean their house. It definitely beats the alternative. Best wishes.

I don't have a problem with the name "Clean Freaks" myself, but I'm not sure how it communicates the positioning "... better customer satisfaction with competitive prices with other players in the market."

To me, "Clean Freaks" says "fanatic about cleanliness," and nothing about customer satisfaction (tracing to reliability, trustworthiness, etc.) or competitive pricing.

Somehow clever names never seem to do as well as names that communicate benefit-oriented positioning promises. If you want to change the positioning to fit the name, that's your call, but it's kind of like letting the tail wag the dog, isn't it?

I could see "Clean Freaks" just like the Geek Squad. Its catchy, lot of possibilities for logos, and could really stand out from other cleaning business names. There is an overkill of "Maid" brands.

Any ideas of cool names for a company in Las Vegas???

A lot of things come to mind when you think Las Vegas but not cleaning.

I would go with your first choice "Clean Freaks", specially if you can support what your name depicts with the service you provide.

I am strongly with mgoodman. I don't get any negative, but the positive benefit is the image of personnel who are obsessive about clean. (A GREAT image for a cleaning service, I think.) But just for the record, it doesn't address the other things it sounds lik e you wanted it to, if that's important.

With apologies to Jimmy John's, maybe tag whatever you name it with "So CLEAN, you'll FREAK."

As someone said, if it's available locally, you may still be okay using Clean Freaks. If not, some other off the wall names and potential tags:

    Obsessively Clean.
    Clean as a Whistle.
    Cleaning on the Spot(less).
    The Squeaky Clean Crew.
    Squeaky Cleaning

    TAGS:
There's no such thing as "clean enough."
We're not gone until the dirt is.
    When we're done, it's clean.
    It's clean. Count on it.
Because fanatic cleaners are fantastic cleaners!
