Need Name And Tagline For Home-based Soap Business

Posted by heidibisbee on 250 Points
I am opening this question again with a little more detail. I have a client who is a small home-based business but wants to begin the branding process. She makes and sells soap, lotions and body gels. Her target audience is women between the ages of 30-50. The women that buy her products, generally buy them because they like the scents, they are very moisturizing (as they use glycerin), and are extremely cost efficient. She would attract women who buy the Bath & Body, but do not want to spend the $$$. Her last name is Price coincidentally, so something with her name in it would be an advantage, as long as it is not too cheesy. We are looking at recreating her entire image, so a domain name that is available would be great too.

Hope this helps.

    How about: Prize Skincare
    For a tagline: Where the Price is just Right...

    Perhaps one of these available domains will inspire some ideas:
    * PriceOfSoap.com
    * AromaOfBeauty.com
    * PriceOfLookingGood.com

    I would avoid using her name because it calls attention to the price/cost of the product, and that's not where you want to position her.

    There are hundreds of millions of women in the 30-50 age range, so you probably need to narrow your target audience somewhat. It will cost a fortune to reach the target audience you've defined, and your market share will be so tiny it won't even be measurable.

    How does she plan to distribute the product? Is she going to have a network of retail stores? Company owned stores? Internet sales (only)? That might help you narrow the target audience too.

    Just a few thoughts/questions to get you started.
